Utah Backcountry Discovery Route (Extended Trailer)

Here is an extended trailer for the Utah Backcountry Diccovery Route (UTBDR) expedition, an 871 mile off-road route that starts in Mexican Hat and runs north across the state of Utah to the Idaho border near Bear Lake.

Touratech-USA’s Tom Myers and Paul Guillien, accompanied by a group of riders that included Bryce Stevens of Trails.com, Rob Watt of A990 Bags, Joe Lloyd of Curbsyde Productions, Justin Bradshaw of Butler Motorcycle Maps and Justin Summers of KLiM, spent eight days in the Utah backcountry working to establish an off-road route across the state, what they’ve dubbed the Utah Backcountry Discovery Route.

Washington Backcountry Adventure (WABDR)

As with many great stories, this one starts with two guys chatting over a pint of beer one evening. They are talking about their shared passion for motorcycles when they stumble upon an idea to create a route from Oregon to Canada through the Washington backcountry. This idea gains momentum when its awarded the 2010 Overland Flag for best proposal for an expedition.
