Tunnels and Logging Highlight Day 4 of GS Trophy

After three consecutive high-mileage days, the BMW Motorrad GS Trophy riders today were allowed some respite, with a stage distance of 230km it was set to be less a strenuous day. Only it wasn’t! The day again featured a ‘black run’ to properly test the riders’ technique and ended with a suitably physical Canadian theme – ‘The Logger Games’.

South Africa Surges Through Water Challenges!

Day 3 of the GS Trophy consisted of nearly 200 km of off-road adventure. 150 km of scenic paved mountain passes with three special challenges. The day started early – with a 6am wake-up call – but yesterday’s rain and mud soon became a distant memory as blue skies and warm sunshine greeted the early risers. 

CEEU Holds Lead in the Rain At GS Trophy

Team CEEU (Central Eastern European Union) continue to lead the 2014 BMW Motorrad GS Trophy after a tough second day of competition in Canada, which saw France and newcomers Korea emerge as joint day winners. 

CEEU Leads GS Trophy after First Day

After the first weekend of challenges at the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy 2014, Team CEEU (Central and Eastern Europe) holds a slight lead over France and South Africa. The first weekend of this week-long adventure, saw the 48 competitors and 16 journalists get their first real taste of the adventure, as the route took them into the heart of the spectacular Rocky Mountains.

Touratech-USA Gears Up For GS Trophy 2014
