Willson 120: Leaving Colombia

Back on the road, we were able to take advantage of the newly completed Ruta del Sol on the way to Bogota. It was nice to able to actually ride at highway speeds for much of the time again, something we haven’t been able to do much of since arriving in Colombia due to heavy traffic. 

Travel Time: Idaho Backcountry Discovery Route

The Backcountry Discovery Routes team was on the road again – this time in Idaho. As with previous projects, the aim was to unlock the potential of a US state for adventure bike riders. The result was a fully documented route across some of the most beautiful off-road sections of the Rocky Mountains. 

Willson 120: A Weird Day at Pablo Escobar’s House

On our way to Bogota, we had probably our strangest tourist experience so far in the trip. A little bit West of Puerto Triumpho, way off the road in the hills, is Pablo Escobar’s old estate Hacienda Napoles.

Behind the Scenes at Dakar 2015

Dakar fever was in the air. We’d been traveling in Argentina for a few weeks and getting caught up in the hype from TV commentary, billboards, and seeing adventure bikes making pilgrimages from Argentina, Chile, and Bolivia adorned Dakar stickers.
