It’s just a little over two months until the 2010 BMW GS Trophy Competition in South Africa, and Touratech-USA’s Iain Glynn has been busy riding and training to get in peak mental and physical shape for the competition.
Touratech-sponsored adventure motorcyclist Helge Pedersen was awarded the 30 Years of GS Lifetime Achievement award in recognition of the contributions he has made to the world of GS and world travel by motorcycle during this year’s BMWMOA International Rally in Redmond Oregon.
Last week we had the great fortune of meeting two motorcycle travelers at our Seattle HQ as they stopped by for a rest and picked up some parts. Ara and Spirit have been traveling around the U.S. for the past 4 years on a 1995 BMW R1100GS with a custom Dauntless sidecar. Ara’s BMW has over 230,000 miles on the clock and is still going strong.
