Touratech Rally Report 2015

Last weekend over 500 riders descended upon the tiny town of Plain, WA for the 2015 Touratech Rally. This was the fifth year of the rally and what started as an informal gathering of adventure motorcycle enthusiasts has turned into the largest adventure rally on the West Coast.

A large group of riders (the leaders and sweep riders for the group rides) camped in the mountains to pre-run and proof these routes.  We needed to confirm that the routes work and that they concur with the difficulty ratings applied.

2015 Touratech Rally West Alert!

We would like to let you know of a road detour due to construction in the area of the Touratech Rally West. Coming from Stevens Pass only, there is a bridge closure June 1st to July 1st. You will need to follow the detour signs. This will add approximately 11 miles to your ride.

The Making of a KLR 650 Video

About a month ago, I met with ADV filmmaker Sterling Noren about doing a video for the KLR. The concept is basically that two of our guys will ride it for a couple of days on some different terrain and give it a review.
