Shawn and Lance Thomas are known throughout the motorcycle industry as “The Adventure Brothers.” Bonded by blood and a love for 2-wheeled fun, their opinions are read and respected by riders across the country. Touratech was happy to provide them with a couple of our Aventuro Carbon helmets for testing when they asked. They told us they’d be pitting our lid against a couple of industry behemoth’s dual sport helmets and handing out grades in the latest issue of BMW MOA Magazine. We wanted to see how the Aventuro Carbon stands up to the competition so we said, “Go for it.”
The competition included the following catagories:

• Comfort
• Aerodynamics
• Ventilation
• Wind Noise
• Wet Weather Performance
The Adventure Brothers didn’t pull any punches in their evaluations and the Aventuro Carbon received the overall highest grade, besting the Arai XD4 Dual Sport and the Hornet X2 Dual Sport.
