Day 2 April 14, 2011
Today we got on the bikes and rode towards the Puna coast. We had hoped to go to where the lava was flowing into the ocean, but the word was that the lava has stopped flowing.
We started in upper Kaumana and rode the Flume road to the dirt bike trail system in the Kulani forest. The little CRF is running great, and, like a new bike. There’s nothing like a new bike!
