Sneak Peek: KLIM’s New Badlands Pro Jacket and Pant

Comparing anything to the KLIM Adventure Rally suit is like comparing a production model motorcycle to a purpose built factory team race bike. KLIM spared no expense developing their Adventure Rally gear and it shows. That said, the Badlands Pro Jacket and Pant is the latest riding shell combo from our friends at KLIM and looks to fill the void between their highly advanced Adventure Rally suit and the newly introduced Latitude riding suit. The Badlands Pro offers d30 armor, generous cargo capacity, excellent ventilation, Armacor Kevlar rip-stop panels, and a number of other features found on the Adventure Rally suit.

The Badlands Pro jacket features GORE-TEX 3-layer Pro Shell Laminate technology, which is "GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY," Armacor Kevlar rip-stop panels, a Brushed Tricot comfort collar and d3o’s CE-Rated T5 Pro limb and back panel armor system, as well as a front chest armor plate found only on the Badlands Pro jacket. Cargo capacity comes courtesy of seven external pockets and four internal ones, including a hidden internal passport pocket. Additionally, the Badlands Pro jacket has a built in hydration system (bladder not included, however), eight Max Flow ventilation ports (four arm intakes, two armpit intakes and two vertical back exhausts) as well as an integrated adjustable kidney belt support system. Available in both black and light gray, the Badlands Pro jacket has an MSRP of $899.99

The Badlands Pro pant also features GORE-TEX 3-layer Pro Shell Laminate technology and Armacor Kevlar rip-stop panels, as well as high-wear Cordura panels on internal abuse zones (leg cuffs, internal knee lining and bottom hem) in addition to full-grain Italian leather on the inner knee and lower leg. Side waist adjustment straps, an adjustable boot cuff with a zippered expansion panel and a high back elastic waist allow for a high mobility active fit. The Badlands Pro pant also has four external pockets and four Max Flow ventilation ports, as well as d3o T5 Pro CE-rated armor incorporated into the knees and hips. Available in both black and light gray, the Badlands Pro pant has an MSRP of $649.99

For many of us, it was love at first sight when we first laid eyes on the KLIM Adventure Rally suit, and heartbreak when we couldn’t swing it. Well the dream of owning a high-end KLIM riding suit just got closer for many of us with the new Badlands Pro.
